Fantasy on NOEL NOUVELET was the recipient of the Young Artist Prize Winner at the 2024 American Guild of Organists' Women Composition Competition
This work began as a personal practice in improvisation. The piece is very much inspired by composers like Maurice Duruflé and Marcel Dupré: The tune NOEL NOUVELET shapes the form, and the piece uses the full range of the organ. The piece is dedicated to my former organ improvisation teacher, Nicolas Berndt, the organist at St. Wenzel's Church in Naumburg, Germany.
